HP’s Envy brand is all about the mid-range: it’s not the cheapest, but something that’ll do a decent job with no serious compromises. Last year’s Envy 13 was particularly good value, and this update with the latest Intel processors offers even higher specs for the same money.
At £1,149, reduced at the time of writing to £1,029, our test model came with a quad-core i7-8565U chip, 16GB of memory, Nvidia GeForce MX250 graphics card with 2GB of dedicated video memory, and – impressively – a terabyte of SSD storage.
